Soulmates Together is a private, one-to-one couples app made by Rhymaun House. Sharing is your choice, not a condition of using the app.
Profile details, notes, plans, reminders, avatar choices, and wellness information can be stored on your device. Photos you select for optional avatar overlays stay on your device; the painted avatars work without a photo. Soulmates does not require a developer account or an advertising or social-network account.
Apple Health access is read-only and requested only after you choose to continue. Supported summaries include activity, workouts, sleep, mindfulness, nutrition, body measurements, heart, respiratory, and mobility information. Soulmates does not transmit raw Health samples, HealthKit identifiers, source-device details, workout routes, or clinical notes. Missing information is not treated as zero.
Each partner-sharing category starts off. Enable only the categories you want your partner to see. Sensitive categories require an additional confirmation and are excluded from “Share everything.” A goal proposed for your partner requires their acceptance. Your choices can be changed at any time.
Both people can connect from different locations using a private Apple iCloud sharing invitation; meeting nearby first is not required. iCloud sharing requires an available iCloud account on each device. Apple CloudKit stores the selected nonmedical relationship content you choose to share, such as plans, Nest household check-ins, love notes, and Our Story entries. It also stores the account/pair identity and encrypted cryptographic-key metadata needed to recognize the two participants.
Soulmates does not automatically place Apple Health summaries, cycle information, medications, or symptoms into its iCloud sharing records. Optional photos and precise location are not part of that shared record. Free-text notes and story entries contain what you type, so include only information you intend to share.
When you separately enable wellness sharing while apart, your selected, minimized wellness summaries use an encrypted relay outside iCloud. The phone encrypts them with AES-GCM and signs the author’s payload with P-256 before sending. Only the paired phones hold the keys needed to decrypt and verify those summaries; the relay does not hold those keys or receive readable Health content.
The relay runs on our existing Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare, a U.S.-based service provider, processes network requests to deliver this service; this is not a new analytics or advertising service. We do not log message bodies, authorization tokens, or Health content. Network providers necessarily handle connection information, such as IP addresses, for transport and abuse prevention. Cloudflare may process requests across its network; we do not promise U.S.-only data residency.
The relay keeps only the latest encrypted snapshot from each person, for up to 24 hours. Older snapshots are replaced. Minimal random pair/member identifiers, consent revisions, and replay-prevention state remain until the room is revoked during unlinking. After revocation, an unrecoverable random-room marker may remain to prevent an old device from reopening it; the member metadata and encrypted snapshots are removed.
Turning off wellness sharing removes that person’s relay ciphertext when the removal request is confirmed. If offline or unsuccessful, the app retains the pending removal for retry; existing ciphertext otherwise expires within its 24-hour limit. Check the app’s sync status instead of assuming an unconfirmed request has completed.
Nearby paired phones may also use authenticated, encrypted Apple Multipeer Connectivity over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, subject to your sharing choices. You can remove content in the app or unlink to stop the active relationship, remove the iCloud share access, and revoke the relay room. Network removals require a connection and may need retry. Removing access cannot recall copies already received or saved on your partner’s device. Delete local app data using the app’s controls or by removing the app; unlink first if you also want to remove remote sharing.
Soulmates does not request broad address-book access. Apple’s contact picker supplies only the contact you choose for an invitation; you review and send any Messages invitation yourself. The selected phone number is not saved in the pair-sync payload or uploaded by Soulmates.
If you grant location permission for weather, approximate coordinates go directly to Open-Meteo to retrieve local weather. Soulmates does not continuously track your location. Calendar access lets the app add or update only the plans you choose in Apple Calendar.
Notifications require your permission. iCloud change notifications and local alerts help you notice partner updates. With your permission, Health background observers can request periodic updates, including hourly delivery, but iOS decides when work runs. Connectivity, Focus, notification settings, battery conditions, and Apple’s scheduling can delay or combine updates. No exact or continuous live-delivery guarantee is made.
Soulmates supports general wellness and relationships. It does not write Health data, diagnose or treat conditions, or provide emergency monitoring.
