Soulmates Privacy Policy

Soulmates Together is a private, one-to-one couples dashboard made by Rhymaun House.

Local information you choose to use

The app can store profile details, couple check-ins, notes, plans, avatar choices, reminders, and wellness information on your device. Soulmates has no developer account system or cloud database in this version.

Apple Health data is read only after your system permission. Soulmates can summarize supported activity, workouts, sleep, mindfulness, nutrition, body measurement, heart, respiratory, and mobility information. Soulmates does not request clinical records, medications, reproductive or sexual health data, ECG records, raw heartbeat series, glucose, insulin, falls, workout routes, or other unsupported sensitive records in this release.

Every partner-sharing category starts off. Health data stays on device except for the minimized daily categories you explicitly enable for your paired partner. Sensitive categories require an additional confirmation and are excluded from “Share everything.” Soulmates does not transmit raw Health samples, HealthKit identifiers, source-device details, workout routes, or clinical notes. We do not receive, sell, or use Health data for advertising.

Partner sharing

A partner sees only categories you deliberately enable. Nearby pair sync uses encrypted Apple Multipeer Connectivity over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while both devices are available, plus an identity-bound invitation proof and mutual connection authentication. It does not route through a Rhymaun House server. Unlinking removes the active pair relationship and sharing grants on your device.

Health goals created for a partner are proposals. They do not become active unless that partner accepts them, and the partner may decline them. Missing or unavailable Health data is not treated as zero. Goals and reminders are general wellness features, not diagnosis, abnormal-vital detection, or emergency monitoring.

Household check-ins

Household check-ins such as kids dropped off, kids picked up, pets fed, or made it home are non-health events. A nearby paired device can receive the event through the encrypted direct connection and show a local notification. When partners are apart, Soulmates offers an explicit Apple Messages share action; the user reviews and sends the message. Soulmates does not silently upload these events to a developer server.

Contacts and invitations

Soulmates does not request broad access to your address book. If you choose “Choose one contact,” Apple’s contact picker returns only the phone number you select. That number is held only long enough to prefill Apple Messages. It is not uploaded, saved by Soulmates, included in the partner-sync payload, or shared with the developer. You decide whether to tap Send.

Location and weather

If you deliberately continue to the iOS location prompt and grant When In Use access, Soulmates sends an approximate latitude and longitude directly to Open-Meteo to retrieve current local weather. Soulmates does not use location for live tracking, does not operate a location server, and does not share location with your partner unless you separately enable weather sharing.

Calendar and notifications

If you deliberately grant calendar access, Soulmates can add or update the plans you choose in Apple Calendar. Calendar access is not requested on launch. Reminders and received nearby check-ins are scheduled as local notifications on your device only after you grant notification permission; Soulmates does not send notification content through a developer server.

Data practices

Soulmates is a general wellness and relationship-support tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment.

Purchases

Optional Soulmates Plus subscriptions and cosmetic purchases are processed through Apple StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
